Microsoft Corp. plans to offer a basic version of Windows in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking Latin American countries, significantly expanding its effort to reach beginning computer users in developing nations. The company yesterday unveiled a Spanish-language version of Windows XP Starter Edition -- a scaled-down, lower-priced adaptation of Windows already available in local languages in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India and Brazil. | ||
