Well, Square President Yoichi Wada got on stage to pledge his company's support for the system. First up will be a port of the PS2 online RPG, Final Fantasy XI. Judging by the video shown during the event, it won't get much of a visual upgrade from the PC version of the same game. Still, it brings several firsts to the system. This is the first Square/Enix game on a Microsoft console, the first Final Fantasy game, and the first time Xbox Live members will be able to play a game together with PC players. Square's support doesn't stop with Final Fantasy XI, though. Wada also promised to bring future Square/Enix games to the system and demonstrated a short real-time clip of what his company thinks next-gen Xbox 360 games will look like. It was extremely impressive, but still non-interactive. | ||
