Guinness World Record Set Using Windows Movie Maker for Windows XP | |

Microsoft Corp. today announced that Microsoft Windows Movie Maker for Windows XP helped U.K. band The Electric Soft Parade set a Guinness World Record for the fastest music-video production. Windows Movie Maker and consumer digital camcorders were used to produce and edit a music video for the db records artists' new single, "There's a Silence," in just 3 hours and 46 minutes, establishing a world record. Microsoft shot footage for The Electric Soft Parade's new single at the Windows XP operating system U.K. launch event in London Oct. 25, and at HMV's flagship Oxford Circus store. The video was then produced, edited and broadcast over the Internet in record time using Windows Movie Maker for Windows XP. | ||
