Software giant Microsoft Corp. said it will announce Monday a program to give underprivileged American boys and girls more access to technology, underwriting a $100 million project to help bridge the country's digital divide. The program will be the largest donation Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft has granted. The program, called Club Tech, is designed to bring technology access and programs to more than 3.3 million underserved children and teens through the Boys & Girls Clubs across the country, the company. Club Tech will set up technology centers at every Boys & Girls club during the next five years, with curriculum as well as program management and computer training for staff. | ||
