For almost as long as Electronic Arts has been promoting itself on the game-conference circuit, it has let attendees know that it is vigorously recruiting talent to power its game-development pipeline.
Today, it seems, one of EA's paramount rivals is adopting the same tactic. Reuters reports Ubisoft's primary development studio, located in Montreal, Quebec, has announced plans to increase its staff by some 200 people. Currently home to some 700 employees, the studio is currently hiring in a variety of departments, but it announced the majority of future positions will be in programming, design, and art.
