The Mozilla Project released Mozilla v1.6, the latest major point release of the open source Web and e-mail suite. Mozilla is the technology platform upon which the Firebird, Thunderbird and Camino browsers have all been developed. The software now features NTLM authentication for the first time on non-Windows platforms. vCard support has been added to Mozilla Mail, along with the ability remove mail from POP3 accounts after a specified number of days. Ask Jeeves searching has been added, security-related bugs have been fixed, crash bugs have been fixed, and much more. | ||
