"The G3 is dead - well, not if you own one, but no longer an item in Apple's production line. Long live the G4, a better chip all round. Not the rocketship G5, which, provided by 1100 off-the-shelf Power Macs, forms the world's third-fastest supercomputer at Virginia Tech University, but the next best thing," Dan Harrison reports for The Age. | ||
