Microsoft Media Center faces shortage, no push or pull | |

RESELLERS WILL be hard pushed to sell Microsoft's Windows XP Media Center this year because there is neither consumer pull nor channel understanding, a situation not helped by a shortage on demo stock. The problem, according to Hugh Symons director Salim Wilson, is that the XP Media Center is not a traditional technology sell and that resellers have to get their heads around the idea of a concept sell. | ||
