"Numerous readers claim to have ordered PowerBook 15" models from Apple's Online Store in the past weeks (as early as August 16) and being given the estimated shipping date of the week of August 25. As of yesterday this changed to September 10. This would seem to reinforce rumors this month regarding imminent PowerBook updates. Also, the Seybold San Francisco conference falls on the week of September 8, and Apple will be attending Seybold this year, as in the past. As well, suppliers Ingram Micro and Multimicro are 'completely devoid of stock,' with regards to the 12" and 15" PowerBook models, as well as one model of 17" PowerBook," MacTeens is reporting. | ||
