Electronics Corp plans tieup with Microsoft | |

KOCHI - The Rs 10 billion (US$213.4 million) Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL)will team up with Microsoft for educational software, a company official said. ECIL, along with its IT division, ECIT, also had plans to tie up with hardware suppliers, vice president V K Malik said. The company was planning to target 5,000 educational institutions - schools, colleges and polytechnics - in the current year, whereby total IT solutions comprising hardware, software, peripherals and educational deliveries are provided.
