  New firmware for Sony DRU-500A/UL: 1.0g

Sony Japan has released new firmware for the Sony DRU-500A and DRU-500UL DVD recorders.

Unfortunately, all the information is in Japanese, but according to a rough translation of the changes, the only thing that has changed between 1.0f and 1.0g is "Improvement of reading efficiency."

You can download the firmware directly from here.

(Update: The US site has now been updated with the firmware as well.)
