Microsoft Corp. (nasdaq: MSFT - news - people), said to be in talks to buy Vivendi Universal's (nyse: MSFT - news - people) video game business, could cut its losses from from the Xbox video game console in half this year by clinching such a deal, a financial analyst said on Wednesday. Vivendi has been discussing a possible sale of its games unit with interested parties, including Microsoft, for more than a month, sources close to the situation have said. | ||
