AOL would do better to figure out how to stem the defection of less-than-satisfied users and how to cannibalize its own dial-up customers by converting them to broadband without losing significant revenue. I would never argue the value of sales and marketing. But somehow the efforts of Microsoft and AOL to promote their latest Internet services seem obscene, particularly considering how many people have lost their jobs and are struggling in a dubious economy. | ||
