Microsoft has taken the wraps off a third flavor of Windows XP that is specially designed for consumers who use their PCs as a digital media outlet. The company announced the special features in Windows XP Media Center Edition at January's Consumer Electronics Show, under the code name "Freestyle." Freestyle was designed to turn the PC into a digital entertainment center for listening to music, watching DVDs and television, recording TV shows and viewing digital photos. | ||
