Just weeks after replacing its desktop Radeon 8500 with the new Radeon 9000 graphics accelerator, ATI Technologies Inc. has introduced a version for notebook PCs. The Mobility Radeon 9000 is the first laptop graphics processor with fully programmable pixel and vertex shading technology for Microsoft DirectX 8.1 and the newest, most realistic 3D games. HP is one of the first vendors to show off the new chip, in the high-performance Compaq Presario 2800 notebook. | ||
