Sorcerer's Place's Icewind Dale II Preview offers impressions of a preview build of Black Isle Studios' upcoming RPG sequel. They describe how familiarity with the original Icewind Dale is not required, the higher screen resolutions now supported, character creation, the new interface, the new inventory screen, implementation of 3rd edition D&D rules. combat, dialogs, and more. Included is a massive batch of 67 screenshots in addition to the 13 sprinkled through the preview, though it is warned that some of them may contain spoilers.
