Upgradeable Xbox One isn't quite as awesome as we thought | |

When Microsoft detailed an upgradeable Xbox One, we couldn't quite believe our eyes/ears. But, it seems the Xbox One won't actually support modular upgrades as suggested by Xbox boss Phil Spencer at a recent Microsoft event. "Am I going to break open my console and start upgrading individual pieces of my console? That's not our plan," explained Spencer on the latest Major Nelson podcast. "There is something special about what happens with a console. You buy an appliance-like device; you plug it into your TV; it works when you plug it in. | ||
