Windows 7 powered HP Slate 500 is now official: Price and Background | |

HP has confirmed that it will be launching long awaited HP Slate 500. Unlike many recently launched Tablet Computers including Apple iPad and Galaxy Tab, HP Slate 500 is powered by Windows 7 Operating System. HP Slate came to light after Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer showed the device in CES 2010 event. However, the release of Slate was postponed after Apple released its first-generation iPad Tablet. At one point, the delay in HP Slate launch started rumors that the computer maker has killed the product.
