Samsung ships DDR400 to the masses | |

Samsung today began shipping DDR400 P3200 modules in volume. They're available in 128MB and 256MB densities throgh distribution, while the 512MB should ship at the end of May. Samsung says it has received good feedback for the modules from Nvidia, SiS, and VIA, and chipsets supporting the fast memory standard should be available 'soon'. Samsung says it is the first company to ship DDR400 fast memory for PCs in volume, and it claims more than 40 per cent market share worldwide for DDR memory sales. The company has not published prices yet for the new parts. | ||
