A little over one month after taking over responsibility for the WebTV Internet-on-TV service, MSN has rechristened WebTV as MSN TV. In a memo to employees last month, WebTV execs said that the focus of MSN TV will be to deliver key areas of the MSN service for TV-enabled digital cable and tv set-top boxes. Once such service is a future version of the MSN Messenger Service client that will allow MSN TV users to accept invites to dinner from a friend, or be notified of a relative's late flight. | ||
