Windows Vista needs one creative ISV | |

Just recently, Microsoft launched a website called See Windows Vista which demonstrates the power of building applications for the new operating system. Through Flash, the site demos a laundry list of applications that run on top of Vista. Companies such as Allscripts Healthcare, Accruent, Skelta, and 90 Degree Software all have applications that are demonstrated through the showy, exceedingly annoying website. Now, in case you haven't heard of those companies, bigger names have signed on to create software for Vista—the New York Times, Mercedes-AMG, BBC, and British Library to name a few. But will any of those apps be must-have, throw-out-the-Commodore-we're-upgrading worthy? They don't appear to be, but Microsoft has created the tools for someone to make one. | ||
