CDFreaks has posted a review of the LaCie d2 DVDRW external drive, which supports writing of DVD+R/-R media at 8x, DVD+RW/-RW media at 4x, and DVD+R DL media at 2.4x. CD writing speeds are 32x for CD-R media and 16x for CD-RW media. Based on NEC's popular ND-2510A drive, this external kit features both USB 2.0 and Firewire connections.
