WINNING trust is not a short-term activity in any walk of life, as Microsoft is finding with its security-based Trustworthy Computing. Since Bill Gates emailed his developer colleagues almost two years ago, demanding an improvement in the quality of code and a reduction in the number of security flaws, the industry has been keenly awaiting evidence of improvements. Meta Group analyst Michael Warrilow says buyer attitudes to Microsoft are softening but there is still a long way to go before anyone "trusts them". | ||
