"What's the deal with Steve Jobs?". The place was a very nice restaurant in San Francisco, the time was last week during Macworld Expo, and the inquisitor was Diane, the wife of an old junior-high chum of mine. It was a fair question. The geeks are already familiar with the cult of Steve. The first person in line for Steve's 9 a.m. keynote address turned up at 4 a.m., and by 6, the entire block looked like an open audition for American Idol. | ||
