Next up is a rather gargantuan Day of the Dead two-disc special edition arriving on August 19th. This one features a new anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital Surround EX and DTS ES 6.1 soundtracks, new audio commentary by George Romero, Tom Savini, production designer Cletus Anderson and star Lori Cardille and a second track with filmmaker and fan Roger Avary, "The Many Days of Day of the Dead" 39-minute documentary featuring new interviews with more cast and crew, "Day of the Dead: Behind the Scenes" featuring 30 minutes of raw production footage from Savini, an audio interview with late actor Richard Liberty (Dr. Logan), archival video of the Wampum Mine location, three still galleries of the effects, behind the scenes and posters and memorabilia, trailers and TV spots, a 16-page booklet, and on the ROM side, the complete original screenplay and production memos.
