Whatever else it is, the Comdex show in scenic Las Vegas is usually a barometer of the technology times. When times are good, attendance is up and exhibitors throw big parties. When conditions, economic and otherwise, aren't so good - as in the past year, only two months after 9/11 - companies scale back on travel, and the party food is limited to a smattering of pigs in blankets. | ||
