All great dynasties must come to an end sometimeand so it passes that Sony's MLB series, after seven incarnations and 1.5 million or so games sold, will leave the original PlayStation and set up shop permanently on the PS2 for the 2003 season. There's no point in shedding a tear for the past, thoughnot when the new MLB's so close to getting released, after all.
