Microsoft Corp. and AT&T Wireless demonstrated new location-based software, provisionally named Microsoft® Enterprise Location Server, that brings together XML Web services, core Microsoft .NET technology and AT&T Wireless’ Network to enable rich location-based services. The Microsoft Enterprise Location Server was developed as a part of the strategic alliance formed by the two companies in July. The two companies will demonstrate an application of the software at DEMOmobile 2002 being held at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines in La Jolla, Sept. 19--20, 2002. | ||
