We can finally say this to you all Welcome to the Active Network .NET Forums Beta 1. We have been working hard over the last month to produce what we hope will be a far better forum experience for our set of website users, we knew our last set of forums we out of date when we launched them which can happen when you are writing up the code in-house instead of using other forum software like most sites do.

Well we can finally announce our .NET forums - these are far, far better than our last ones, for a start they are at least TWICE as fast as the last ones, they add color styles, massively improved profiles which includes post history and the adding of user icons to appear by the side of your post (64x64 only), better posting facilities including signatures, image posting and emoticons, a search has been added, the layout has been completely revamped to get rid of the clutter, you can set your local time so you know when a post has been made most recently. Navigation has also been vastly improved and streamlined.

We are open to suggestions on just about anything - perhaps you have a new style you think would look good on the site, perhaps you just have a really basic simple suggestion to make - then make it, we're happy to hear complaints and comments.

We aren�t finished here though - this is just the first beta version of the site, there are more new features on the way both big and small that are taking a bit longer to implement as they were further down the list, but as soon as new features are added we will post here so you can try them out and comment on them.
