XDegrees, Inc., an innovative provider of solutions for secure information access across the extended enterprise, today announced that it had been acquired by Microsoft. As a result of the transaction, Microsoft will acquire the assets of XDegrees for an undisclosed amount, and a team will relocate to Redmond, Washington. "Enterprises today require robust solutions for secure and efficient access to information distributed across the enterprise," said Michael Tanne, founder and CEO of XDegrees.
