Considering that the game's commercials have been running for the last week or so, it's really not much of a surprise that Universal Interactive announced the shipping of The Thing for Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC CD-ROM earlier today. The game, takes place shortly after the events of John Carpenter's 1982 horror classic of the same name, has players taking on the role of Captain Blake as he traverses 11 stages in the hopes of solving the game's many mysteries. The Thing features squad-based gameplay, a trust/fear interface that measures teammates fright levels, and carries an MSRP of $49.99 USD. | ||
