The world's largest software maker, which launched Xbox last year to compete with Sony Corp.'s (SNE: Research, Estimates) PlayStation 2 and Nintendo's GameCube, said it will cut the price in Britain to £159.99 ($246) from £199. "The new prices will be effective Friday, Aug. 30," a Microsoft spokesman said in London. | ||
