To coincide with the recent launch of Office XP – the software that is set to revolutionise office productivity – Microsoft® has announced for the very first time its new Office Keyboard. The Office Keyboard has been specifically designed to complement the new Office software by taking the functionality of Office XP and placing it at the user’s fingertips. Demonstrating Microsoft’s commitment to software/hardware synergy, the new keyboard features special function keys to show the Office Task Panel and to launch Office applications such as Word and Excel.

Other new features of the Office Keyboard include a special scroll wheel and application toggle switch, which are set to significantly increase office productivity by enabling users to move between open documents and applications with utmost efficiency and ease. The Office Keyboard also offers a new, innovative design along with easy-to-use back and forward buttons to ensure quick and efficient navigation of the web and creation of office documents. The new Office Keyboard is due to be officially launched in September 2001.
