Applications for Microsoft Surface v1.0 or Microsoft PixelSense™ can respond to objects that are marked with byte tags, which can specify 256 unique values. Every Microsoft Surface 1.0 developer unit includes two sets of 256 stickers–two stickers for each byte tag value.
