Sources said Windows XP Beta 2, which is slated to ship on Feb. 28, also features significant performance improvement and substantially improved terminal services capabilities for ASPs. Microsoft Corp. (stock: MSFT) plans to release Beta 2 of both the Windows XP client and server on Feb 28, but the client is expected to ship to the marketplace on May 30, while the Whistler servers are due to ship Oct. 1, said sources familiar with Microsoft's internal target dates. | ||
