Intel Launches Intel Celeron 850MHz | |

Intel, the CPU giant, has officially launched today, a new version of its bottom of the range Celeron processor, clocked this time at 850MHz with a 100MHz FSB. Only a few months after the introduction of the Celeron 800MHz, that was the first Celeron to feature a 100MHz front side bus (instead of 66MHz), Intel augments the clock speed of its budget friendly CPU, slowly but surely.
