A former linebackers coach at the school, Rod Sharpless, resigned earlier this year after he allegedly gave cash to a prospective recruit, Victor Abiamiri, in December. The payments were said to total about $300. The money was given to Abiamiri after Sharpless heard him express a desire for an Xbox, but was told he would not be getting one for Christmas because it would be costly and might interfere with his studies. | ||
