According to sources, the Latitude D400 Centrino-based notebook that Dell Computer launched on Monday, the smallest member of its Latitude D-family, is being made by Taiwan-based Wistron. Starting at a weight of only 3.73 pounds (1.69 kilograms), the notebook is equipped with Intel’s Pentium-M processor and 855 chipset, a 12.1-inch XGA (1,024×768) display, 20GB hard drive and four-cell battery. The single-spindle notebook also includes an external D/Bay modular bay to connect optical and storage devices or a second hard drive. | ||
