Group Resumes Attempt to Crack Xbox | |

A group by the name of The Neo Project is trying to crack the 2,048-bit encryption code used by the Xbox by using distributed computing techniques. Just this Wednesday, the group began offering its software, Operation Project X. The software will use thousands of PCs to try to guess the Xbox's encryption code. Reportedly, this approach could take years to yield results. | ||
