MSN Explorer Website Hacked | |

Thanks Paul and Michael. It seems that the International page of the MSN Explorer website has been hacked. The page says " Welcome to http://www.worm.com, Hacked by Chinese". The page is still up at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. Check it out! For a bit more background...this is the Code Red Worm which was discovered last month. Microsoft did put out a security bulletin for this issue here: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS01-033.asp Both MSN Explorer & MSN SupportServices were attacked, and both sites are down as Microsoft removes the offending code, and patches the servers. In addition to the defacing that the worm does, it is also rumored to launch a Distributed Denial of Service attack. | ||
