Satoshi Kanematsu may be fondly remembered by E3 2002 visitors as "the man who communicated solely via guitar," butlucky for ushe's also quite a good game designer. His team at Tecmo has been working on Rygar for the PlayStation 2 lo these past few months, and we recently borrowed a playable version from the company to explore.
