One of the most common issues that I hear from programmers who are beginning to use .NET for developing their applications is that they are having some problems understanding the structure and layout of the .NET Framework and the features that it supplies. So I thought it might be a good idea to take a look at the "object model" of the .NET Framework and hopefully give you a better understanding of how it is organized. In today's episode, we will be talking with Brad Abrams and Chris Anderson, two of the people who structured the .NET Framework in a consistent and straightforward fashion. They will provide some of the background and concepts that gave birth to the .NET Framework, explain how they worked with the various groups to provide a consistent object model, and also walk us through various parts of the .NET Framework to hopefully give you a better understanding of how to use it effectively within your applications. | ||
