SOFTWARE REDEVELOPER Microsoft has shown off Visual Studio 11, the development name of what is expected to become Visual Studio 2012, ahead of a public beta. Microsoft's Visual Studio integrated development environment (IDE) is getting a new lick of paint as the firm prepares to try to help developers build applications that take advantage of new features in Windows 8.
