The xp_msver extended stored procedure may return null for most of the SQL Server properties if you run a non-localized version of Sqlservr.exe on a non-English SQL Server installation. Typically, hotfixes for Sqlservr.exe that run on a non-English installation meet this condition. The xp_msver extended stored procedure does not retrieve language-specific information if the language version of the Sqlservr.exe file is different from the language version of the SQL Server installation. | ||
