"As a member of the Active Accessibility beta program, you will receive a package that contains the latest released Redistribution Kit, current release notes, and the license agreement covering redistribution of Active Accessibility. Within the next four to six weeks, people in the program will be able to see the suggested design for version 2.0." Microsoft® Active Accessibility® is a developer technology that makes computer programs more accessible to people who use accessibility aids. For developers, it also can expand the capabilities of testing tools and other specialized utilities. As an underlying technology, Active Accessibility is invisible to users. It's been used by developers since 1997, and may already be in the operating system and programs you use today. For example, Active Accessibility is in Microsoft Office 97 and Office 2000. It's also in Microsoft Windows® 98 and Windows® 2000, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0, 4.01 and 5. | ||
