At the Microsoft Management Summit in late April, it was announced that the update to Systems Management Server 2003, currently called SMS v4 Beta 1, will be known as System Center Configuration Manager 2007 when it is released next year. The new name reflects the growing importance of system configuration management tools, and eWeek Labs' tests of the beta show that it would be well worth IT managers' time to start working with the product. | ||
