THE marketers dub it "experiential marketing", where a special event is staged to bring a brand's personality to life. The 5000 beachgoers Microsoft hopes will turn up to Coogee beach this weekend would probably just call it a good laugh. Microsoft aims to stage the world's biggest water balloon fight this weekend to mark the end of the launch phase of its latest generation gaming console, the Xbox.
