Remember the Alamo? Apparently, very few people did, or cared to. Released just two months ago to mediocre reviews and even worse box office, The Alamo proved to be a costly and embarrassing flop for beleaguered Disney. Buena Vista Home Entertainment will give the flick another shot on DVD on September 28th, complete with a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track,the "Return of a Legend: the Making of the Alamo," "Walking in the Footprints of Heroes" and "Deep in the Heart of Texans" featurettes, deleted scenes with optional commentary by director John Lee Hancock, and theatrical trailers. List price will be $29.95. | ||
