ADO.NET 2.0 extends and enhances ADO.NET in multiple directions. A faster disconnected stack, a cleaned-up programming model, including support for provider-independent applications, and support for the latest SQL Server 2005 features are a few of the new cool stuff were adding in the next release. This quick peek at ADO.NET covers some of the disconnected stack enhancements, shows what the new provider-independent model looks like and briefly covers the new batching support in the connected stack. | ||
