Persistent Storage Manager a reliability enhancing add-on to the Server Appliance Kit 2.0, provides instantaneous data protection & recovery through the use of Persistent True Image (PTI) or “snapshot” technology. PSM allows the user to create & maintain multiple, point-in-time PTI’s of any or all of the data residing on the server appliance. In the event of data deletion, corruption or loss, one of many online PTI’s can be instantly accessed and restored, thus preventing system downtime and/or data loss. | ||
